Made this for Mel for her belated birthday! WWAW: same place ]=

This was based on a photo I saw online of a young Chinese girl and a pigeon flying by her. I’m not too happy with this one, but I drew this one night while visiting my grandparents in Shanghai during the summer of ‘09. I remember it was late and my grandma didn’t understand why I was drawing in the dark of the bedroom instead of watching television with her. I hadn’t drawn anything in a long time, so I just felt like it :).

WWDTCF: Shanghai summer night

I saw this little guy once on deviantART and thought “HOW CUTE!”, so now he will be a recurring character on BB (Between Blinkz). Oh and look forward to coffee mugs! I definitely can’t get enough of those :D

WWDTCF: High school days

Yup. Not sure what happened here. Definitely qualifies as “silly.”

WWDTCF: High school days

So I’m sort of a kung fu movie fanatic…(did I mention Jet Li is my HERO??? Well now you know). Not sure if I want to try to explain my doodles, I mean, doodles are doodles for a reason, so I’ll let you decipher them to your imagination’s content :). Whew, glad I got that off my back ;)

WWDTCF: High school days
I’m alive! So this is officially my second post on BB. YES! Sorry I’ve been kind of MIA…
Anyway, endlessly inspired by Kwin, I’m going to start a project titled “Mel’s 1001 Silly Doodles”. Hopefully with this I can build up my friendship with my pencil and eraser, because for too long I’ve been a neglectful friend. So first off, I’ll start off my 1001 with a few old doodles I’ve kept. Hopefully they don’t look too bleak beside Kwin’s colorful creations ^^;

WWAW: My lovely dorm room
This week I did not get a chance to do any decorations for my room. I spent Friday, most of Saturday and Sunday sitting at a cafe doing homework…T_T. Anyhoo, I just wanted to post something today. I made these two paintings for Chinese Painting Class. I will probably hang them up after I get them back from Professor Meng. Goal: apply calligraphy strokes to tree branches. Successful? Doubtful!
